Indian weddings are known for their different customs and taste. Lots of rites, ceremonies, and celebration along with all relatives and friends make it happening at every moment. There are different religions, communities and regions having divergent sets of customs and traditions. Inter-caste marriages are not a taboo anymore which has cumulated the people all over the nation. There are common people, TV actors, movies stars, sportspersons getting married. Currently, there are hypes of the marriage between our beloved Cricketer “Yuvraj Singh” and Bollywood Actress “Hazel Keech”. Both belong to different religions viz. Sikhism and Christianity respectively. Let’s have a look at this amazing wedding ceremony.



After ringing the wedding bells in Fatehgarh Sahib (50 Km. away from Chandigarh) according to the Sikh rites the couple moved to Goa. In Goa, the newly-wed again had a wedding ceremony adhering to the traditions of Hindu Culture. The wedding took place in North Goa at a beachside resort amongst the mesmerizing scenery. Hazel now ‘Gurbasant Kaur’ was wearing a Banarsi saree whereas Yuvi switched from the red sherwani (in Chandigarh) to gold brocade sherwani. Both were looking very graceful complementing each other’s personality.

Yuvi entered the venue on a 4×4 ATV amidst the tons of the band following him. He was all smiles and enthusiastic as ever. The couple performed the rites and tied the knot of their married life. It was followed by the cake cutting ceremony which was filled with all the fun. Then everybody was dancing to the tunes of music celebrating the occasion. Yuvraj Singh and Gurbasant Kaur performed a couple dance on “Dream a little Dream of me”.



The ceremony was a star-studded affair with the presence of Skipper Virat Kohli along with his girlfriend Anushka Sharma, Coach Anil Kumble, Rohit Sharma with his wife Ritika, Rannvijay Singha, Aashish Chaudhary and Angad Bedi to say the least. The couple was also blessed by the business magnate Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. The reception will take place on December 7, 2016, in New Delhi and it is expected that PM Narendra Modi will be joining the occasion.
